Year Round Programs

Ready to Go (Grades 6-9)

A growth mindset enables students to do better at school and lays the groundwork for success in their later years. Using growth mindset strategies, Ready to Go coaches students to form positive habits to achieve their goals, prioritize their time and get things done.

In this live online course, your child will:
☑️  construct attainable goals
☑️  set up a planning system that will allow their goals to be met
☑️  manage, schedule and keep track of their schoolwork
☑️  find balance between work and play
☑️  learn skills that will minimize anxieties caused by poor organization.

Each week's lesson scaffolds onto the next, and a short takeaway task is assigned where your child will apply the skills taught to start reinforcing positive habits. Students will receive a workbook that includes session handouts, goal setting templates and time blocking schedulers.

Small Group Writing and Reading Classes (Grades K-12)

I offer small group online and in-person English tutoring and focus and cater to each student's unique learning style and needs. My experience allows me to engage with students at all levels ranging from teaching K students the phonetics to working with high schoolers on how to think and read critically to write effective analysis papers.

All programs emphasize on learning with the growth mindset. Students are taught to appreciate reading and writing and are encouraged to build confidence and motivation to establish habits and discipline for self-learning. Emphasis is placed on making progress and setting goals.

At the beginning of the program, we:
✔ assess each student to determine their current baseline.
✔ set realistic milestones and goals to where the student wants to be.
✔ work with each student to create a timeline to work towards goals.

Throughout the program, we:
✔ conduct “check-ins” and provide feedback to students and families.
✔ revisit with students to establish new goals relevant to their progress.

Programs:
Ready to Read (grades K-3)
Ready to Write (grades 3-5)
Ready to Connect (grades 5-7)
Ready to Analyze (grades 8-10)
